Our Summer Schools Programmes: A new way to live a French experience

Toulouse INP Summer Schools are short programmes delivered between May and September which usually extend from 2 to 8 weeks. Summer schools are usually aimed at undergraduate students, following a Bachelor Program or other graduated students.

Engineering Summer School (ESS)

ESS 2019: June 26th - July 13th

Welcome to participants from France and all over the world.
(Pre-requisites: Bachelor level or equivalent to follow master level courses).
Come to learn from international experts and put in practice immediately your new competences.

Courses are taught in English. They focus on Scientific & Technical Fields and include lectures, industrial visits and cultural activities.

 

These programmes are a good way to develop scientific skills while enjoying some leisure activities with other international students:

  • Biorefineries & Supply Chain Systems
  • Medical-use biomaterials
  • Advanced materials from cellulose
  • Isotopes for environmental sciences

 

An INP student will be your personal guide to ESS and French culture.
He or she will contact you via e-mail prior to your departure for France.

Summer School FLE

The FLE (French as a Foreign Language) Summer School is co-organised by Toulouse INP, INSA Toulouse and ENAC under the banner of Toulouse Tech.

 

The aim of this immersion course is to reinforce your communication in French and improve your understanding of scientific and technical courses, and practical work in French.

The teaching of French is based on interactive teaching approaches and various non-specialised and scientific materials (improving reading, writing and speaking skills in French - specialist lectures) The Summer School will conclude with an exam on a specific scientific and technical topic.

The Summer School includes several cultural and industrial visits to discover Toulouse and the region.

 

The University of Toulouse "Welcome Desk" team will welcome you at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport or Matabiau train station (Marengo-SNCF). It will guide you with all your personal and administrative procedures and will accompany you to your university accommodation.
