International mobility
Toulouse INP's support for international mobility is intended to consolidate proven international cooperation, the international strengthening of research teams and the emergence of new collaborations of strategic scientific interest. The objective is to encourage the outgoing mobility of INP laboratories' scientific staff (researchers, PhD students, technical staff) and the incoming mobility of foreign university staff.
france excellence eiffel scolarship
The France Excellence Eiffel scholarship programme is an initiative developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to enable French higher education and research establishments to attract the best international students to master's and PhD degree programmes. It aims to train future international decision-makers from the private and public sectors in priority fields of study.
What type of scholarship ?
In the field of science and technology, the programme covers areas of study such as biology and health, the ecological transition, mathematics and digital technology, as well as engineering sciences.
The scholarship is awarded for a period of:
- Up to 12 months for students enrolled in the second year of a Master’s degree
- Up to 24 months for students enrolled in the first year of a Master’s degree
- Up to 36 months for students preparing for an engineering degree
- Between 12 and 36 months for doctoral students
Since January 2026, Master’s students have received a grant of 1,200€, rising to 2,100€ for PhD students, to which direct coverage of various benefits may be added.
How to apply ?
Students cannot apply on their own.
Students must first ensure that their application is endorsed by a teacher-researcher from Toulouse INP (ENSEEIHT, ENSIACET or AgroToulouse).
The teacher-researchers may contact the International Relations Office (international @ toulouse-inp.fr) for further information.
Applications cannot be submitted by Toulouse INP.
Timeline : The application window generally opens in mid-October. Internal applications normally close in late November or early December. Results are announced during April of the following year.
For whom ?
Applicants must be between 29 and 35, depending on the level.
- Master’s level : applicants must be aged 29 or under at the time of the 2026 selection process ; meaning they must be born after 31 March 1996.
- PhD level : candidates must be aged 35 at the time of the 2026 selection process ; meaning they must be born after 31 March 1990.
Be a foreign national.
This programme is reserved for foreign nationals. Dual nationals, one of whose nationalities is French, are not eligible.
- Master’s level : candidates currently studying in France are ineligible.
- PhD level : candidates currently studying in France are eligible. Students currently studying abroad are given priority over those already residing in France.
