Around the world, Toulouse INP shows top performance across various indicators, with 15 ‘A’ scores overall in the last U-Multirank 2020. Also, it received the fifth scores on the insitutional level for France.

CWTS Leiden Ranking
Toulouse INP is internationally recognized for the quality of its scientific research, and is among the Leiden ranking which lists the top 1200 universities on the international scale. Toulouse INP is recognized for its scientific production on the themes of physical and engineering sciences, life and earth sciences, biomedical and health sciences, and mathematics and computer science.
CWUR Ranking 2020-2021
Since 2012, the Center for World University Ranking, CWUR, has been ranking universities around the world according to several criteria: the quality of teaching, the number of alumni rising to positions of responsibility in the largest international firms and institutions, the quality of the teaching staff according to the distinctions received and, finally, the quality of the research. The whole is reported at a grade out of 100. About 20,000 universities have been graded around the world. In this ranking, Toulouse INP ranks 624th on the international scale, and 29th on the national one.
2021 Shanghai Ranking
The Shanghai ranking lists the best higher education institutions in the world from a research perspective. It classifies, according to scientific fields, 1,800 out of 4,000 universities and schools in 93 countries. This ranking is mainly focused on research, and takes into account scientific publications and, in particular, articles cited in their respective fields, as well as the awards and prizes associated with researchers.
