Toulouse INP at EAIE 2024

The 34th edition of this conference will be held in France from 17 to 20 September 2024 in Toulouse in the Occitanie region. The EAIE conference is THE major annual meeting place for higher education professionals in Europe.

After a 15-year absence from France, this event will bring together more than 6,000 higher education professionals from over 90 countries for conferences, workshops and exhibitions on the challenges of internationalising education.

Toulouse INP at EAIE 2024

Toulouse INP and its schools join forces for EAIE 2024: Events will be organised at Toulouse INP-Ensat, Toulouse INP-Ensiacet and Toulouse INP-Enseeiht to welcome their European counterparts and partners and explore the specific features of the schools, their training courses and student life through campus visits. (The detailed programme of events will be announced at a later date).

Teams from Toulouse INP will also be available to meet with counterparts and partners at the University of Toulouse stand at MEETT during the exhibition.

A space dedicated to the Universeh project will also be available on the University of Toulouse stand:

Why host this conference in France and in Toulouse in 2024?

  • Help France to compete with the major international higher education fairs: EAIE is the equivalent of NAFSA in North America and APAIE in the Asia-Pacific region;
  • Add a European dimension to the challenges of French higher education policy: excellence, internationalisation and inclusion
  • Promote the course offering and excellence of the 280 French universities and schools that took part in the 2022 event in Barcelona (likely to be more in Toulouse).
  • Contribute to the development of relations between Africa and Europe, the theme of the 2024 event, in conjunction with the Africa-France Summit held in Montpellier on 8 October 2021.
  • Promote French university excellence in general, and that of the Occitanie region and Toulouse in particular.
  • Enhance the influence of the universities in the Occitanie region, France's 3rd largest university hub (260,000 students), particularly the major university hubs of Toulouse and Montpellier
  • Strengthen the appeal and influence of the region in terms of higher education and research: recruit talented staff, including visiting professors and researchers, particularly in the context of the experimental establishment that the University of Toulouse has become.
  • Harness the economic benefits for Toulouse and the Occitanie region of one of the biggest conferences in Toulouse.
