EAIE Toulouse : A week dedicated to international cooperation
From September 16, 2024 to September 20, 2024
From September 16 to 20, Toulouse hosted for the first time the European Association for International Education (EAIE) congress, THE major annual meeting between Universities and Higher Education institution around the world. This event, back after 15 years of absence on French territory, brought together more than 7,300 participants and was organized thanks to the work of the University of Toulouse, Toulouse Métropole, the Prefecture of Occitanie and the Occitanie Region.
Toulouse INP-ENSEEIHT organized its "Partners Day" on September 16, welcoming around forty representatives from partner universities to present its campus, laboratories and student associations, while strengthening international collaborations. The guests also visited Airbus and tasted regional specialties.
On September 17, Toulouse INP-ENSIACET and Toulouse INP-AgroToulouse organized "Campus Experiences".
At INP-ENSIACET, a presentation of the School was given followed by a visit of the campus to participants curious to discover the establishment. After a cocktail and a dinner offered to the guests, they attended a presentation of practical work, and a workshop organized with the students of the international club, offering fruitful exchanges.
Toulouse INP-AgroToulouse organized its event "Life, Agriculture and Veterinary Science and Education in Toulouse" in partnership with EI Purpan, ENVT and ENSFEA. This day was an opportunity to discover the Lamothe and AgroToulouse campus, and to consolidate current partnerships. After discovering the joys of winemaking carried out by the students of the UE Vin, the international partners had the pleasure to taste a selection of wines from the south of Toulouse.
These events strengthened existing partnerships and brought discussions for new academic collaborations. The teams of Toulouse INP and its Schools participated in all the events, and represented Toulouse INP as well as the UNIVERSEH project, on the UT stand. They welcomed many partners to develop and sign agreements to open new opportunities for student mobility, expand existing collaborations, present projects, discuss common objectives and consolidate partnerships.
This major event helped to make Toulouse more visible and attractive in the field of higher education on the international scale.
